The City of Napa is infringing on what you can do with your property
and is slowly taking away the rights to your land.
THIS IS A PUBLIC ANNOUNCMENT TO INFORM NAPA
HOMEOWNERS, PROPERTY OWNERS AND NAPA CITIZENS OF THE RIGHTS THEY
ARE ABOUT TO LOSE!
RV ORDINANCE DEBATE TO COMMENCE January 21, 2003 at 6:30 pm

With over 10% of the population purchasing
RVs / Boats etc. prior to 9/11/01 and with an
increase of over 20% purchase sales since 9/11/01, the
issue of RVs / Boats are increasing and are here to stay and
we should all do what is needed to protect our property and RV rights.
Since RVers / Boaters / Motorcyclist / Work Trailers / Jet Skis / etc
are good people and the majority take care of their RVs / Boats etc,
we can be good neighbors by speaking to one another first -before "sneaking
around / calling the cops" and going on the attack using UP VALUABLE
CITY RESORCES. RVers / Boaters etc. need to avoid using the "blue
tarp" and try to find middle ground with the neighbor.
It is time for the City Napa to make sure that property
owners have rights for the land that they purchase and pay tax on to not
be forced and or subjected to unreasonable issues. An example of this
made by my "neighbor" is suggesting that there will be a negative
impact on "privacy, views, sunlight etc., of adjacent properties".
Interesting concept, except in my neighborhood based on City Ordinances
& several homes that have already done this, I can build my house
two stores tall and up to the 20 foot setback area - talk about loss of
privacy, views, sunlight.
It is time for the City
of Napa to move on by using its resources for a valid exercise of Police
& City Power, the power to regulate real public health, safety, morals,
and welfare issues - not the misuse or abuse of Police & City power.
It is time for "neighbor(s)" who have nothing better to do with
their day, have forgotten what it is to be an American and to live their
own lives, to not want to hear the voices of life and laughter, whom want
such restrictive ordinances - They should "MOVE" to an area
or neighborhood that has CC&R's in place that spell out these issues.

Non-Friendly RV
These "representatives" look at "THEIR" personal
view point on the subject, rather than the needs of the community.
Kevin Block - Vice Chair Planning. Is running
for Council... Highly suggest you ask his opinion on the RV issues.

Since RV / Boat Ownership
is growing at a rapid rate. The lack of safe storage
and the continued removal of storage spaces, i.e. Carneros Lodge,
it is my opinion that these people who are supposedly representing
us and using their personal view points and not the needs of the
City, should be removed from their positions.

NOTE:
This is the Public Health & Safety Focus
(Per City of Napa - Bi-Annual Report - Keeping our Neighborhoods
Livable)
This is what the City of Napa has in mind for Aesthetics - Not for
the reason used by my "neighbor"
